Q — Why should I rent with you?
A — I can’t express to you how important it is to deal with a company who demands the highest integrity.
Would you skydive with a company that took you up in a rickety plane? Would you snorkel in dangerous waters? So, why would you rent an ATV any differently? Do you really want to chance breaking down, driving off the edge of a cliff, or drive a machine that isn’t safe? Would you put your children in that position?
I’m a family man. I care about people more than I do the bottom line. Sure, it’s not a highly profitable way to run my company, but in good conscience I couldn’t do it any other way.
Q — I have no experience, can I handle the trail?
A — Yes, we have alot of inexperienced riders ride with us. We’ll take extra time to make sure you are comfortable and confident. Snowmobiles are a different story though. They are very difficult to ride in Colorado, so be prepared for that.
Q — What is your most popular machine?
A — Razor, and for your knowledge, a Razor is made by Polaris. It’s a sporty 4×4 side x side that will do 0-35 MPH in 4 seconds. Nothing compares to a Polaris Razor.
Q — How does fuel work?
A — Fuel is free for ATV rentals. If you rent a Jeep, you will have to fill it up before you return it.
Q — Will I see wildlife for sure?
A — If not an elk, moose or bear, you might see a crazy half naked mountain man running around. Just kidding. Truth is, you never know what you’re going to see. I have seen days when all we see is a pack of wild turkeys. I have seen days when bear, moose and elk are running all over the place. We will point out areas on the trail where the possibility is higher. However, loud machines sometimes scare them away. Well, except the bull moose, they really don’t seem to care about much of anything.
Q — What is the terrain like?
A — Well, it’s no corn field I can tell you that. You are in the Rocky Mountains. So, you will be going up mountains and you will be in the rocks here and there. Hence, the “Rocky Mountains”. Don’t let me freak you out though. There are no cliffs to go off of and there are trails to fit any comfort level.
Q — Are there bathrooms or stores near the trail?
A — No. you will truly be deep in the rocky mountains, in the real back country. This is all part of the adventure. Bring TP, pack some water and snacks, and get ready to have the time of your life.
Q — Do you deal with company parties, reunions, and bachelor parties?
A — Yes we do. We have plenty of 8 passenger Suburbans and every size trailer.
Q — How does insurance work for Jeeps and Harleys?
A — Insurance is not required for ATV rentals. Full coverage insurance IS required for Jeep rentals.
Q — How does Damage work on ATV’s?
A — Let’s face it, things happen. It’s not a big deal. I wreck my dirt bike every time I ride and I am always buying new parts. That’s just the name of the game when you play in the dirt. We are pretty cool about it. If you wreck and crack the plastic, we can handle it by finding the part new or used and just charge you cash for it. If you add a new scratch or something like that to the ATV, it’s no big deal. We don’t get all crazy trying to charge you for that. Like I said, things happen. We are easy to work with and pride ourselves on not taking advantage of people.
Q — What if I get a flat?
A — You will be riding in rocks, so it is possible. However, in 35 years of riding I have never had a flat myself. I am just smart about how I drive in those rocks. We supply a jack, spare, and tools for your ride. As for the damage: if the puncture is in the top of the tire, I pay for that. If it’s in the sidewall, you pay for it.
Q — Should I get a snowmobile or ATV/Razor in the winter?
A — We run ATV’s and Razors in the winter, in the snow. They are 4×4 and do pretty good. If you don’t have snowmobile experience, or you are not prepared for the extreme nature of the sport, I would highly suggest an ATV or Razor. Razors are probably the most popular machine we have and they are a blast in the snow.
